Stout Honey Beef Roast

- Place potatoes, carrots and onion in any CanCooker. Cut roast in half and place on top of the vegetables. In a bowl, combine the next nine ingredients and pour over the vegetables and roast. On a medium-to-medium low heat source cook until the roast is tender, about 1 ½ hours. Remove roast from the CanCooker and keep warm.
- Using the CanCooker Strainer Lid. Strain cooking juices, reserving vegetables and 1 cup liquid. Add reserved liquid to the CanCooker and stir in cornstarch and water. Cook and stir until the sauce has thickened, about two minutes. Serve with beef and vegetables.

- 1 1/2 lbs small red potatoes

- 4 lb beef chuck roast
- 1 14.5 oz can beef broth
- 1 cup stout beer
- 1/2 cup honey
- 3 garlic cloves
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 1/4 cup cold water
