- In a 12 inch skillet, cook bacon over medium heat 6 - 7 minutes or until crisp, drain on paper towels. Crumble bacon, set aside. Add the chicken broth, potatoes and onion to the CanCooker. Latch lid and let simmer for 10 minutes on medium/low heat. Remove from heat and mix in butter, flour, milk, salt, pepper, ham and sour cream. Latch lid and return to medium/low heat. Simmer for an additional 10 minutes.Remove from heat and add cheddar cheese, bacon and green onions.Garnish with additional cheddar cheese, bacon and green onions, if desired.

- 12 ounce Bacon
- 1 ½ cups Chopped Onion
- 6 cups Chicken Broth
- 4 pounds Baking Potatoes
- ⅔ cup Butter
- ¾ cup All-Purpose Flour
- 4 cups Milk
- 2 tsp Salt
- 2 tsp Freshly Ground Pepper
- 2 cup Diced Cooking Ham
- 8 ounces Sour Cream
- 2 ½ cups Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
- ¾ cup Sliced Green Onions
