- In a non-stock CanCooker cook bacon on a medium heat, crumble and set aside. Add stew meat to bacon grease, sear. Set aside.Add garlic, onions and red wine. Simmer, reduce heat and add chicken broth, tomato sauce, and soy sauce. Slowly whisk in the flour.Add seasonings, carrots, celery, potatoes, mushrooms, meat, and bacon. Stir well, cover and cook for about 40 minutes on medium low heat.Serve and enjoy!
